Bald eagles are getting more common throughout New England and the U.S., but there’s always something special about seeing one up north.

I am so thrilled in my later years as a life long NH resident to see more and more eagles here. No longer have to head for the Lk. Umbagog area either…just last week driving down Meredith Center Rd. approaching Laconia I saw a beautiful eagle sitting high up in a hardwood tree on a large dead branch hanging out over the roadway in the area we refer to as Gallagher’s Corner. Amazing!!
