Here are a few shots of warblers I got this spring but haven’t posted yet. So here they are, just kind of thrown at you in no particular order and without much description …

Oh, and there’s a few warbler shots at the end of the post that I took this year and had already posted. You can never have enough warbler photos.

  1. As I look at all your beautiful warblers I am being serenaded with birdsong right here in the city, as I was upon waking on this Summer Morning. He is a House Finch. I’ve been hearing him for a few days, so this morning I tiptoed up to my garden deck & there he was on my railing, trilling away — the Little Bird with the Big Voice.
    I figured there must be a nest nearby, & I was rewarded for watching awhile: the nest is in a small space under an air conditioner in a window of the big brick building next door.
