Re: Hummingbirds In Northern California we are enjoying the early days of October. Throughout this summere we have been greatly enjoying the flood of hummers at our 2 feeders, approximately 20 feet apart, in our back yard. During the past 2 weeks have been observing a very territorial male who purches in the bush directly under one of the feeders and for hours dive-bombs any bird who approaches either feeder. This goes on constantly. Should we try to carefully catch this litle bully and place him in another environment away from our neighborhood?
We will be thankful for any suggestions.
