Nice mid-summer bird sighting

There will be more on this sighting coming in the next couple of days, but here’s a teaser photo from a recent sighting in Connecticut. Can’t help but get excited about an indigo bunting sighting.

  1. Nice. I saw a red headed woodpecker in Marlborough NH about 3 -4 weeks ago brief sighting but confirmed as my naturalist neighbor also saw it in her yard. We’re on our 2nd clutch of bluebirds, ditto that for rubythroated humming birds. There are other sightings to report as well
